Erupt3 uses the Microsoft DirectX libraries and in rare circumstances, older operating systems might not be compatible with the Erupt3D Viewer, which is not an essential element of the program.

Update Files:

The update file listed below is designed as an alternative to the built in updater in Erupt 3, or if the user prefers to install the update at a later time. Check the version you are currently running by selecting "About/Registration" from the "Help" menu. Compare it with the version listed below. If your version number is smaller, then you can benefit by downloading the UpdaterEr.exe file below. If you have accidentally removed Erupt3 files, then you might be able to refresh your copy by installing the update, even if it is not newer than your version (see below if any of the files you need are listed under “Files updated/added.”

ERUPT3 Update: Version 3.02.0062 Update Download (for existing installations):
For versions earlier than 3.01.0030, get this update to install the Erupt3D Viewer!

Update information: Click on the following link to download the update program (UpdateEr.exe). Once downloaded, running the program will unpack required files and start the update program locally on your computer. After updating, Erupt3 will ask the user to resend registration information.

Note: This program will only update Erupt3 versions. If you are not a registered Erupt3 user, then don't bother the download, it won't work for you. For the most part, updates are cumulative. Live Update (EruptUp.exe) from versions of Erupt3 prior to 3.00.0016 will not work with this update, so it is best to just use this self-installing download UpdateEr.exe.

Erupt Help files are not included in these updates to minimize download time. To get the most recent help files, download this self-installing help file: Erupt3-Help.exe (~4.0 Mbytes)
